Meandering In The Maritimes: A Trip To Peggy's Cove- Part V: Lunch And A Walk Through Town

After crawling around on the rocks for a while we worked up and appetite and headed for the ol' Sou' Wester restaurant just behind the lighthouse. Check out this link to a cool live webcam of the view from the Sou' Wester.

We stuffed ourselves with there famous fresh muscles, digby oysters, clam chowder, and, of course, fish and chips.

After filling up on the sea's bounty, we made our way down to the quaint little fishing village. As it turned out, an old gift shop that we visited (the one where this whale vertebrae was leaning up against) was washed out to sea a few days later when Hurricane Bill struck!
